Silvore Fox Minerals Corp. (TSXV: SFX) (the "Corporation") announces that certain changes have been made to the Board of Directors of the Corporation and to the Corporation's management. Mr. Harold Cabrita is very pleased to announce the addition of international exploration experience to its Board of Directors and management team. The Corporation wishes to welcome Dr. Jingbin Wang as Chairman and director, Mr. Nianqing Zeng as Director, Dr. Zhenquan Gao as Vice President Exploration, and Ms. Hua Gao as Corporate Vice President.
Chairman and Director
Dr. Jingbin Wang's position as Executive Director of China Nonferrous Metals Resource Geological Survey began in 2003. He has held the title of Vice-President of the China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association since 2008. He is a leader in the non-ferrous metals industry in China with expertise in mineral exploration and mining amassed over his 24 years of experience. He has been granted the title of National Youth Expert for Outstanding Contribution in China in recognition of his success in prospecting results and scientific research. In addition, he is the Chief Scientist of National 973 Program. Dr. Wang has been President of the Beijing Institute of Geology for Mineral Resources since 2002. Dr. Jingbin Wang is currently President of Sinotex Mineral Exploration Co. Ltd.
Director
Mr. Nianqing Zeng has over 15 years of experience as an entrepreneur with businesses operating in Canada, the United States and China. Currently he serves as director and CEO of China Mining of Canada Corp., director of both the China Metallurgical Corp. and Sino Minerals Corp., and is executive director of the China Mining Association of Canada. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Polymer Science from Chengdu University of Science and Technology. Mr. Zeng has been involved in the mining industry for many years serving as a mining investment consultant in China and Canada. He has been a featured speaker at many mining conferences, including the annual convention of the Prospectors and Developers Association of Canada.
Vice President Exploration
Dr. Zhenquan Gao, is vice general manager of Beijing Donia Resources Co. Ltd. He has a PH.D in geology and is of professorship status in the area of advanced engineering, having been published in more then 30 journals and composing some 30 geological reports. Dr. Gao has 27 years experience in field mineral exploration throughout various countries including Laos, Ethiopia, Eritrea, Angola and Canada, among others. Dr. Gao combines this with nearly a decade of experience in the management of mineral exploration companies.
Corporate Vice President
Ms. Hua Gao has over 9 years experience in the Media Arts Industry as both a journalist and producer. Ms. Gao also has over 8 years of experience working in the areas of administration and corporate finance both in the Mining and Manufacturing sectors. She has worked for China Mining of Canada Corporation and Sino Minerals Corporation (formerly known as China Nonferrous Metals Exploration Corp.) in the capacity of financial controller and deputy manager. Ms. Gao has been actively involved with several mining projects, joint ventures and mergers.
As a result of the new Directors and officers appointments, the following additional changes have been made: Mr. Cameron McIntosh has resigned as a director, remaining as Chief Financial Officer, Mr. Stephen Webster has resigned as a director and has assumed the role of Corporate Secretary, Mr. Fred Bonner has resigned as Vice President Exploration and has assumed the role of Vice President Operations, and Mr. Jordan Keefe has resigned as Corporate Secretary. The Corporation wishes to thank Messrs. Webster, McIntosh, Bonner, and Keefe for their service to the Corporation in their previous positions and look forward to their continuing service in their positions with the Corporation.
The Corporation also announces that it has granted to its newly appointed directors and officers options to acquire an aggregate total of 2,000,000 Common Shares of the Corporation, and has granted to consultants to the Corporation options to acquire an aggregate total of 600,000 Common Shares of the Corporation. The foregoing options to acquire Common Shares are for an exercise price of $0.10 per Common Share and will expire February 9, 2015.
